State Fair Indiana Style

This one somehow did not get posted like I thought it did so it is SEVERELY delayed. Better late than never though.
We went to Indiana for the state fair this year and we were NOT disappointed. We of course went with our sweet friends, the Leech family. The fair was the closest things we have seen to the MN State fair we have found, but still did not have the massive turkey leg that we love so much. Maybe next year we will look harder. The kids really did well, but we could tell that once they hit their limit we were all done. Next year I may go one day without kids and another day with kids just so I can see all the sites I like to see. And who doesn't want 2 days of fair food?

What kid wouldn't like to pet a baby calf?
Oh how I remember the days of showing sheep so fondly. :-)
Group fun!!
The girls on Miss Piggy
Ty will hate me one day when he sees that he got stuck in the little girl spot. :-)

I will totally be pulling this one out at graduation time.
I wouldn't find the boys for about 2 seconds becasue they were sitting on the ground looking at this tractor. They were so in love with it and I really considered getting it for them as a Christmas present.....
Until I saw that it cost NINETY DOLLARS!!! Are you kidding me????

I diverted their attention away from the over priced toy by letting them get on a real combine.
This is how you know you've had a good day!
Sweaty...Check.
Face covered in orange ice cream...Check
A good day at the State Fair....Check
Ty has really taken a liking to horses which surprises me for some reason. He wasn't scared at all and these were the Percheron horses so they weren't small at all. We could have stayed in the horse barn for hours.
I love this picture.

ONE YEAR OLD!!!!

It's hard to believe it but our little Teeny Girl is officially ONE!!!! She has taken this new phase pretty seriously and is no longer a baby. She is walking much more than she is crawling and we are loving it. It still makes us smile too because she knows she is cool stuff when she walks so she smiles the entire time she does it. She seriously makes it hard not to be happy. For the most part there haven't been any major changes since last month besides fine tuning all the skills she already had. We are planning a small birthday party for her next weekend so we will post pictures then. I felt a need to go through all her pictures and just remember how FAST she has grown (even if she hasn't really "grown" much).

12 Month Stats!

1st Day of School

Due to the craziness that's been going on around here these are quite late, but I still had to share them. Love the excitement of a new school year.
Backpacks are all ready for the first day of school!
Special decorations for the first day. Gotta get fired up!!
Can't believe he is for real in preschool!!! I always thought the moms who cried on the first day of kindergarten were crazy. I am already prepared for it. I will be a MESS!!
Who wouldn't love to have that sweet face in their class?

All dressed and ready to go!!

Crazier things have happened...

These boys never cease to amaze me. Some days they defy all odds and love each other like no other....Love when it happens and try to document the crap out of it. :-)

To top off the Craziness Myles wanted HIS hair spiked. This kid HATES when I try to spike it so I made sure to do it and then document it. It makes me laugh because a mohawk just doesn't fit him like it does Ty. :-)
