Myles and Tori were ready to get their egg hunt on!
The entire egg hunting crew.
Natalie was pretty stoked about Aunt Becky's visit!
Nat was putting in a retaining wall around the opening of our crawl space so it was the perfect place to look for worms. It was fun to see that they were just as excited by the 1st worm as they were the 101st worm.
Tori was holding her own with the boys!
We collected all the worms and put them in the garden. We're hoping they'll make that ground EXTRA NUTRITIOUS so we get some BIG veggies this year!
I think they may have been just as excited to see the diver cleaning the tank as they were seeing the massive fish...
Ty of course had to show me he knew how to swim like a fish....on the dirty floor. That's what wet wipes are for right? He had great form at least. :-)
My sweet girl was loving it all!
We were SO excited that Mighty Mike was back!!! This thing was a BEAST and SO much fun to watch now that we're huge fans of the show Swamp People.
Ty was just chatting it up with Mike.
SO awesome to see this guy up close. Having Mighty Mike back makes buying our season pass to the aquarium totally worth it!
Checking out the size comparison.
So this little guy just totally invited himself into the picture. He was standing close to us and then just kept creeping over until he was right in with the boys. I LOVE that he looks more related to Ty than Myles does. Seriously, he is a mini Ty!!! SO FUNNY!
I know my neighbor is happy these beasts are not in her backyard!!
I LOVE that they are willing to cheese it up for me!! AWESOME!
Expert tree climber! Myles keeps having me put him up on the first limb and then as he's holding on for dear life he says, "When I get back like Trevor I can climb to the top." I already fear an ER trip will be in our future.
Kinda think I'm going to make them put these matching jammies on even when they're far too big to wear them. :-)
Buddies
Great memories to last a lifetime! Especially the pistacio dessert! I think I'm still working off those calories! Miss you guys and can't wait for you to get to MN.....only 33 more days!!! Muah!
ReplyDeleteI think that random kid was your long lost son -- he had a Superman shirt on!!! We were in South Dakota at Reptile Gardens and they had a 15 foot croc named Maniac. Landon and Joel as well love swamp people so they got quite a kick out of it.
ReplyDeleteThe Shaw kids look so grown up next to your little ones Laura! Looks like you guys had a blast! I love how Natalie always has the biggest smile in every picture - what a sweetheart. :-)
