Clifford

For Thanksgiving we went over to the Baesler's house. They were such gracious hosts and we love being with them because it is so kid friendly there and they just "get" what it is like having little ones. The boys always have tons of toys to play with and always are upset when we have to leave. This time Miss Jaye had a big red Clifford dog at the house. Myles has never been a big stuffed animal kid but he took to Clifford and has not let go of him since. Miss Jaye let him take it home and we both expected him to be done with it by the next morning. Not the case....He has taken it to school for show and tell, on our trips, and any time in the car. We are still looking for a replacement to give to Miss Jaye. It was from Kohls, but I have not been able to find one because they are on to another series. I decided the best thing to do was to leave him at home when we went to the farm for Christmas and he would forget about it. It didn't work quite as perfectly as planned, but I was able to quickly switch it out with a stuffed duck and gave Clifford to Amanda to be returned to his home. We will see what tomorrow brings when he realizes that we really don't have Clifford anymore....I feel so mean right now. :-(
