There is never a dull moment in the Mitchell house. I hope you enjoy the ride. We sure do!!!!

So recently Ty has decided that his fantasticly, comfortable bed just isn't cool enough anymore. I've come into his room numerous times in the last month and found him in NUMEROUS spots BESIDES his bed.I always open the door really slowly just in case he decides to put himself in front of the door.  You also never know what he will or won't be wearing when you get in there. Now that he is totally diaper free all bets are off. I did not post the picture of when I came to just a naked little bottom for obvious reasons, but that has happened as well.
It has gotten to be a game at this point where I am even more excited to kiss them good night before I head to bed because I never know what I will find when I walk through the door. At the end of the day, all I care about is that they are asleep. Location is just a minor detail.
Pants were obviously overrated that night.

Next to the dresser with all of his pillows.
The closet was a big favorite for about a week straight.
All snuggled in.
Feet up just dreamin sweet dreams.
I did not pose this picture at all. Myles LOVES his truck book and he LOVES to read before bed. Falling asleep with the book is just the next step.

Under Myles' bed, on top of his big stuffed dog. Why not?

Love

It's funny how you can see your child's personality sort of coming out each month that they get older. For some reason this month we have seen over and over examples that Natalie is probably going to be one tough little cookie. I know that with 2 older brothers she kind of has to be, but it's not like she just takes it, she holds her own. She is just awesome. Ty is still trying to figure out his role because he knows he has to be gentle with her but he doesn't know how to respond to her being rough with him. At this point he falls to the ground and cries "No Natalie". If it were Myles he would throw him down and probably bite him. I GREATLY appreciate Ty refraining from that with Natalie.
Here is a prime example of how tough Natalie is. I came into the livingroom when I heard her giggling and this is what I found. Myles isn't totally sitting on her, but he isn't being as "gentle" as I would prefer. Turns out she is just fine and obviously doesn't need me protecting her as much as I thought I needed to.

Seriously, look at that smile! She was giggling her little head off.

Mac and Cheese

So this week we were PLEASED to see that Natalie truly is our child. (Since we were still pretty unsure. :-)) Although she doesn't eat a lot of people food we found out that this girl can throw down some Mac and Cheese. Makes this mama so happy!! It's the little things in life people. :-)

Who needs toys when you have an extra large tote to play in?? These are the types of things that make me SO happy to be a mom to these amazing little munchkins.

Proof that Ty is warming up to Natalie. How sweet is this?

Shed Updating

When we bought our house we had a shed in the back that Nat always said we would get rid of. Myles always called it his barn, and we ended up filling it up and not tearing down. It has been a massive eyesore every time I looked out the back window ever since we moved in so I decided it was time to change it. I went with a little red paint to make it look even more like a barn. I now enjoy looking out the back window. Seeing those sweet hand prints make me smile every....single...time!!

Gator Fun

Who knew $25 could provide endless hours of fun? Natalie has officially joined in the Gator Madness. Not sure how much longer this little garage sale find will last, but I feel I need to start looking for a new (used) one soon!

My new favorite picture of the three of them!
He sure loves his little sister! I love these unprompted sweet moments.
Take charge kind of girl apparently.

Nothing Says Summer

Nothing says summer like corn on the cob!

Myles wanted to eat it before we cooked it. I love to eat it that way too so I was all for it. He did a pretty good job.

Even Natalie joined in on the fun!
She liked it!
